The Access profile allows you to set parameters for running Access Control, which uses the RecTrac database to control admittance to selected doors or turnstiles. Generally speaking, this profile will be linked to the workstation from which Access Control will be run.

Making changes to a profile is an Audited Event. Additionally, Linking, Removing, Purging, and Cloning profiles are also Audited Events.

Note: Prior to using these buttons, ensure that you are on the workstation to which this profile is linked and that VIC is running. These buttons make changes to your computer's Registry, so if you are not on the proper workstation or if VIC is not running, no changes will be made. For Example: If your intention is to click Configure Exe for Access Control, you must be modifying this profile on the Access Control workstation and VIC must be running as an EXE on that workstation.
Click Configure Service for Access Control in the event you will use VIC as a Service when processing Accessing Control via this profile. The process runs automatically and notifies you when done. Save your Changes. Exit RecTrac, restart VIC, and log back into RecTrac for changes to take effect.
Click DELETE Service Configuration for Access Control to remove the VIC Service option from this profile. The process runs automatically and notifies you when done. Save your Changes. Exit RecTrac, restart VIC, and log back into RecTrac for changes to take effect.
Click DELETE Exe Configuration for Access Control to remove the VIC Executable option from this profile. The process runs automatically and notifies you when done. Save your Changes. Exit RecTrac, restart VIC, and log back into RecTrac for changes to take effect.

If using the SmartJ unit for Access Control, select this option to enable User DataGram Protocol Listening.

This field is applicable only if you are using a M2Sys unit for Access Control.
Enter the Name or IP Address of your M2Sys Server in this field.

This field is applicable only if you are using a M2Sys unit for Access Control.
Enter the M2Sys Server Port in this field. By default this is Port 1200. Your setup may vary.
DeleteM2Sys Display UI (SAProfileDetails_M2SysDisplayUI)
This field is applicable only if you are using a M2Sys unit for Access Control.
Expand the Drop-down list to select your M2Sys User Interface Display Option:
- Display M2Sys UI - The M2Sys graphic of a finger being placed in the FingerVein Reader will display.
- Hide M2Sys UI - The M2Sys graphic of a finger being placed in the FingerVein Reader will NOT display. This is the VSI-recommeded setting.
Listen To Input Profiles Linked to The Following Virtual Workstations (Workstation Name must be in the format 'Name:ComX') (SAProfileDetails_InputProfileList)
If using virtual workstations, and if you want to listen to the Input profile linked to them, list those workstations in this field using the following context: Name:ComX. For example, VirtualOne:Com5.
DeleteWorkstation Monitor List (SAProfileDetails_WorkstationList)
Click the Picklist icon to select the workstations that will be viewed in the Access Control Monitor program. Traffic from workstations not in this list will not appear in the Visits DataGrid in the Access Control Monitor.
