The Photo profile defines settings for photo capture devices, such as cameras and browser-based video.
Making changes to a profile is an Audited Event. Additionally, Linking, Removing, Purging, and Cloning profiles are also Audited Events.

Camera Height (SAProfileDetails_CameraHeight)
Enter the height, in pixels, that you want to use as the default size for your image capture device. For Example: 640. The value you enter here determines the height, in pixels, of the image capture screen you will see when taking photographs of your members.

Enter the width, in pixels, that you want to use as the default size for your image capture device. For Example: 480. The value you enter here determines the width, in pixels, of the image capture screen you will see when taking photographs of your members.
DeleteUse Facial Recognition (SAProfileDetails_FacialRecognition)
Expand the Drop-down list and select your Facial Recognition option. Facial Recognition attempts to assist the auto-focus option of your photo device when attempting to capture the image.
- Video - The facial recognition software will operate when you are setting up the image. Once the digital camera is engaged, the facial recognition software will work during the video stream" as the subject gets seated and looks a the camera.
- On Image Snap - The facial recognition software will operate for instant of the image capture only (i.e. when you depress the shutter button).
- None - The facial recognition software will not operate.
Photo Height (SAProfileDetails_PhotoHeight)
Enter the height, in pixels, at which you wish your member photos to display in RecTrac either during Visit Processing (if opting to Display Photo on your Visit profile or when clicking the View Photo in Household Update or anywhere else member photos display.
If opting to enter a Photo Height you can leave the Photo Width value at 0 if desired. The system will adjust the aspect ratio for width automatically. For Example: Your Camera Height/Width is 640x480. You enter '300' in this field and enter '0' in Photo Width. When viewing member photos the system will display photos taken using the 640x480 ratio at 300x225. For best results in Visit Processing however VSI recommends entering actual values in both fields.
Note: If opting to Use HTML5 instead of VIC for video capture? below be certain to enter values in both the Photo Height and Photo Width fields as both are used to set the Height/Width for your image capture box when taking the image.

Use HTML5 Video instead of VIC for video capture? (**IE Not supported and resolution fixed to 640x480**) (SAProfileDetails_UseHTML5VideoStream)
Select this option if you wish to stream your image capture software through your internet browser when taking member photos instead of through VIC and RecTrac. When this option is enabled, the camera operates outside of RecTrac when taking member photos. Once the image is snapped, the system stores the photos as it would otherwise in RecTrac.
If using this option:
- You must use an internet browser OTHER THAN Internet Explorer.
- Camera Height/Width is fixed at 640x480; Photo Height/Width can be set as desired.
Refer to the Family Member Photo screen to see the options you will have depending on whether this feature is enabled.
