The Template Design Studio program is used to create and maintain templates for the following printable objects in RecTrac.
- Pass Membership ID Cards
- Gift Cards / Wristband Gift Cards
- Household ID Cards
- Access Control Tickets (Pass, Rental, Trip, etc…)
- POS Tickets (Serialized, Venue Seating, etc…)
- Labels (POS Service Item POS Inventory, Rental Items, etc…)
- POS IDs (Employee IDs)
- POS 'Sandwich' Tickets (Household Name and Address, Payment Info Tickets)
- Golf Bag Tags
- Golf Handicap Cards
- and more…

Once they are created, templates are generally linked in File Management for their respective modules (For Example: Pass Templates are linked to passes in Pass Management, Inventory Labels are linked to inventory items in Inventory Management, etc…). Regular Tickets and Access Controal Ticket templates are linked on the Access Ticket Settings group, which is found in each module.

Templates (satemplatemain_help_DataGrid)
The Template Design Studio DataGrid lists all the Templates currently established in your system that you have Permissions to view. Scroll up/down to view the Templates or scroll left/right to view additional details.
DataGrid column sort options allow you to customize the view as desired. Click here for a full description of RecTrac DataGrids.
Buttons on the screen…
Click Add to continue to the Template Update screen to create a new Template.
Highlight/select an existing record and click Change to continue to the Template Update screen to edit the selected Template ID. This allows you to edit the Record Type and Template Dimensions information. To edit fields on the Template itself click Template Details.
Highlight/select an existing record and click Delete to remove it from the database.
Highlight/select an existing record and click Clone to continue to the File Maintenance Clone program to clone the selected Template and its Details. This can be used to make exact copies of an existing template and its fields.
Highlight/select an existing record and click Template Details to continue to the Template Maintenance Details screen where you can add/edit the fields on your Template. This is the screen where you build the template.
Highlight/select a record and click Export to export the template selected in an XML file format. This field is exported to the Document Center.

Click the Windows Explorer icon and browse to a Template.xml file.

Click Import to import into this DataGrid.

Select/Highlight a record in the DataGrid and click More • Audit Info to continue to the Audit Log Inquiry program for that particular record. The Audit Log Inquiry screen is "read only" and displays all file management updates to the record you selected.
Note: This button is available only on the true File Management Main DataGrid to which it is linked. For example if you are running an activity report and click the Picklist icon to select a range of activity sections you will not see this button on the Activity Section Management DataGrid that appears. However if you go to the actual Activity Section Main File Management DataGrid then you will see it.
