Module Management allows you to determine how tax is charged at your Department (the Tax Options field) on a "by module" basis. Module Management is also the highest level of Fee/Rule/Question /Email Features hierarchy. Any Fees, Rules and/or Questions linked at the Module Level of hierarchy will apply to all items within the Module.
For Example: You have a $2.00 Service Charge that applies to all Activity Registrations. You could link that Fee to the AR Module and it would apply to all your Activities. This saves you the time and effort of having to link the same Fee to each Activity and Section. Likewise your Department might be closed on certain days of the year, such as Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. To close your facilities on those days, you could link a Disallow Rule to the Facility Module using Item Holiday as your criterion. This would save you the time and effort of having to link the same Rule to all of your Facilities individually. Or perhaps you want an email sent to your Membership Retention Officer whenever a patron purchases a new Pass Membership or renews an existing one. You could set link an Email Feature to the Pass Module and link your Membership Officer to it. This would save you the time and effort of linking the same Email Feature to each Pass Code. Etc….
