All Pass Visit scans are coming back as 'Incomplete' or 'Denied' in RecTrac
Problem
In pass visit processing, when cards are scanned, the pass option box isn't coming up. We have to highlight the pass type, click 'Complete Visit' and then the box comes up. This is inhibiting our ability to scan in our members for our group exercise classes which is no located near our check in desk.
Solution
Pass scans that consistently result in 'Incomplete' or 'Denied' visits could be the result of a cache issue. In the case of 'Incomplete' visits, it also could be the result of how your Visit profile is configured. Attempt the Cache Issue resolution below first. If that does not resolve your issue, try the Visit Profile resolution.
Cache Issue
1. Suspend Visit Processing (i.e. do not allow any new swipes).
2. 'Complete' any Incomplete Visits.
3. Exit Visit Processing.
4. In RecTrac, go to the Processing Ribbon.
5. Right-click on the Pass Visit Processing icon and select Disable Screen Cache.
6. Resume Visit Processing.
Note: Whenever you launch Visit Processing from the icon, it is always a good idea to clear cache on the screen.

Visit Profile
1. Suspend Visit Processing (i.e. do not allow any new swipes).
2. 'Complete' any Incomplete Visits.
3. Exit Visit Processing.
4. In RecTrac, go to your Visit profile.
5. Check the setting in the Process Type field and make changes as necessary based on the following descriptions:
- IF your Swipe Stations are set up to allow employees or members to enter data via keyboard/mouse OR through any combination of card swipe/keyboard entry/mouse-click, then VSI highly recommends selecting Attended as your Process Option so that members may complete their visits as they swipe in.
- IF the above is true and IF your Process Option is set to anything OTHER THAN Attended, then VSI recommends changing your option.
6. Save changes and exit Profile Assignments.
7.. In RecTrac, go to the Processing Ribbon.
8. Right-click on the Pass Visit Processing icon and select Disable Screen Cache.
9. Resume Visit Processing.
