Use the Physical Count Post screen to update the Quantity On Hand for the selected Inventory Item based upon the count from your physical inventory.

From the bottom of the screen….
Click the Process button to add the New Qty for the selected Inventory Item to the DataGrid on the Inventory Posting screen.
Click the Cancel button to Cancel without making any changes and return to the Inventory Posting screen.

Displays the Inventory Code of the selected item.

Displays the Warehouse associated with the selected item. See Pos Inventory Item Update for more information.

You will not visit this field.
This field provides the description or abbreviation of where you store this item (i.e. the aisle and bin in which you keep it) when it received into inventory.
DeleteOld Purchase Qty On Hand (InventoryPostingCount_OldPuchaseQtyOnHand)
Displays the system's count of the quantity on hand for this item based on the Purchase Unite Of Measure (UOM).
DeleteOld Sell Qty On Hand (InventoryPostingCount_OldSellQtyOnHand)
Displays the system's count of the quantity on hand for this item based on the Sell Unit Of Measure (UOM).
DeleteNew Sell Qty On Hand (InventoryPostingCount_NewSellQtyOnHand)
Enter the New Sell Qty On Hand, based on the Sell Unit of Measure (UOM). For Example: When you take inventory, the Sell UOM for Pepsi might be Each or Can. The New Sell Qty On Hand might be 52 cans of Pepsi.
Note: The system adds together the New Sell Qty On Hand New Inventory Qty On Hand and New Purchase Qty On Hand fields when you exit this screen. You might enter this item's inventory based on only one field or you might use a combination of fields. For Example: Your physical count tallied 5 cases of Pepsi and 12 cans in an open case..

You will not visit this field.
Displays the Unit Of Measure (UOM) in which you are selling the Inventory Item to patrons. For Example: You might be selling a Can of soda a Bar of candy or a Bag of chips.
DeleteSale UOM Factor (InventoryPostingCount_UnitOfMeasureFactorSale)
You will not visit this field.
Indicates how many of this inventory item you sell/use. For Example: You may Purchase soda by the case (each case contains 36 cans) and sell soda by the can. The Sale UOM Factor would be 1.
DeleteNew Inventory Qty On Hand (InventoryPostingCount_NewInventoryQtyOnHand)
Enter the New Inventory Qty On Hand, based on the Inventory Unit of Measure (UOM). For Example: When you take inventory, the Inventory UOM for Pepsi might be Case. The New Inventory Qty On Hand might be 5 Cases of Pepsi.

DeletePurchase UOM Factor (InventoryPostingCount_UnitOfMeasureFactorPurchase)
You will not visit this field.
Indicates how many Sell Items On Hand equal one Purchase Item on Hand. For Example: You may Purchase soda by the case (each case contains 36 cans) and sell soda by the can. The Purchase UOM Factor would be 36.
DeletePost Date (InventoryPostingCount_PostingDate)
Accept the default entry (Default Date set on the Inventory Posting screen) or click the Calendar icon to select an alternate date, if desired. The date entered in this field is your date on which Inventory will be posted.
DeleteComments (InventoryPostingCount_Comments)
Enter comments when necessary. For Example: During your physical count, you realize that there were two fewer cases of Pepsi and two more cases of Sprite than was noted in the system physical count. A comment such as the following might be helpful to explain this change: Increased the count of Pepsi by 2 cases and decreased Sprite by 2 cases to correct a prior miscount."
Delete
