The Edit Log screen allows you to make changes to individual Combination Log entries, in the event updates/changes are needed to account for errors in the logging process.
To Change a Combination Log Entry
- From the Logs DataGrid, highlight/select the log entry you wish to update and click Change. You will continue to the Edit Log screen.
- Make changes to the individual fields as necessary. Use the "i" and "?" Help icons on the upper-right hand corner of the screen for field definitions, if needed.
- The Questions Tab lists any Questions related to this record. Questions typically are linked to Asset Category Tasks and are used to record specific information related to the job being done. Make changes to Question Answers, if needed.
- Click Save to save your updates. You will return the Combination Log screen.
OR
Click Cancel to return to the Combination Log screen without saving your changes. - Repeat these steps, as needed, to make change to other Combination Log entries.
Note: The Logs DataGrid on the Combination Log screen displays only work logged "today" regardless of the Log Date for the work. Therefore, the only log entries you change using this program are those log entries made "today." To view and/or update log entries made on a date other than "today," use the Combination Review Log.

Date (MTComboLogUpdate_BeginDate)
Accept the default value (today's") date or click the Calendar icon to select a date other than "today." This is the date for which work will be logged.
DeleteFacility Code (MTComboLogUpdate_FacilityCode)
Accept the default entry or click the Picklist icon to select an alternate Facility Code. This is the Facility at which/on which the work was performed.
DeleteTree Code (MTComboLogUpdate_TreeCode)
Accept the default entry or click the Picklist icon to select an alternate Tree Code. This is the Tree at which/on which the work was performed.
DeleteUtility Code (MTComboLogUpdate_UtilityCode)
Accept the default entry or click the Picklist icon to select an alternate Utility Code. This is the Utility at which/on which the work was performed.
DeleteStreet Code (MTComboLogUpdate_StreetCode)
Accept the default entry or click the Picklist icon to select an alternate Street Code. This is the Street at which/on which the work was performed.
DeleteEquipment Code (MTComboLogUpdate_AssetEquipmentCode)
Accept the default entry or click the Picklist icon to select an alternate Equipment Code. This is the Equipment at which/on which the work was performed.
DeleteProject Code (MTComboLog_ProjectCode)
Expand the Drop-down list to select a Project Code, if desired. This field allows you to make changes to the default Project Code associated with this log entry. Leave this field blank to make no changes to the Project Code already linked.
DeleteTask Code (MTComboLogUpdate_TaskCode)
Accept the default entry or expand the Drop-down list to select an alternate Task Code. This is the work that was performed.
DeleteTask Class (MTComboLog_TaskClass)
Click the Picklist icon to select a Task Class Code, if desired. This field allows you to make changes to the default Task Class Code associated with this record. Leave this field blank to make no changes to the Task Category Code already linked.
DeleteTask Category (MTComboLog_TaskCategory)
Click the Picklist icon to select a Task Category Code, if desired. This field allows you to make changes to the default Task Category Code associated with this record. Leave this field blank to make no changes to the Task Category Code already linked.
DeleteResource Type (MTComboLogUpdate_ResourceType)
Accept the default entry or expand the Drop-down list to select an alternate Resource. This is the Resource for which the Miscellaneous Expense was required.
DeleteEquipment Code (MTComboLogUpdate_ResourceEquipmentCode)
Accept the default entry or click the Picklist icon select an alternate Equipment Code. This is the equipment used to perform the work.
DeleteMaterial Code (MTComboLogUpdate_MaterialCode)
Accept the default entry or click the Picklist icon select an alternate Material Code. This is the Material used to perform the work.
DeleteStaff Code (MTComboLogUpdate_StaffCode)
Accept the default entry or click the Picklist icon select an alternate Staff Code. This is the employee who performed the work.
DeleteAmount (MTComboLogUpdate_ExpenseAmount)
Accept the default value or overwrite with another value. This is the amount of the Miscellaneous Expense.
DeleteQuantity (MTComboLogUpdate_Quantity)
Accept the default value or overwrite with an alternate value.
THEN
Accept the default entry in the Unit field or expand the Drop-down list to select an alternate Unit Code. This fields are the number of <Unit Codes<> that it took/that were used to perform the work.
Unit (MTComboLogUpdate_Unit)
Accept the default value in the Quantity field or overwrite with an alternate value.

Accept the default entry in this field or expand the Drop-down list to select an alternate Unit Code. These fields are the number of <Unit Codes<> that it took/that were used to perform the work.
Payroll Code (MTComboLogUpdate_PayrollCode)
Accept the default value (your 'Regular' Payroll Code) or expand the Drop-down list to make an alternate selection, if needed. This is the payroll value you wish to assign to the work that was performed.

DeleteShift Code (MTComboLogUpdate_ShiftCode)
Click the Picklist icon to select this employee's default work shift.
Shift Codes are maintained in Shift Management.
DeleteWork Order (MTComboLog_WorkOrderNumber)
Expand the Drop-down list to select a Work Order, if desired. This field allows you to make changes to the default Work Order associated with this log entry. Leave this field blank to make no changes to the Work Order already linked.
DeleteNotes (MTComboLogUpdate_Notes)
Accept the default entry or overwrite as needed. This field is used to record any miscellaneous notes associated with this Log entry.
