WebTrac is down after update to RecTrac 3.1.08.00
Solution
In this instance, the customer is a VSI Web-Only Hosted database.
1. Ensure the customer completed 3.1.08.00 Pre Update Step #2, which is specifically for Web-Only Hosted customers.
2. Ensure the customer completed 3.1.08.00 Post Update Step #2, which is specifically for Web-Only Hosted customers.
3. If, after completing the Post-Update Steps, WebTrac still does not come up, then try the following:
- In OpenEdge 11.7, go to the WebLive Broker > Configuration > SSL tab.
- Click, Edit
- Change the Private Key / Digital Certificate Alias FROM 'default_server' TO 'vsiwebhosted.'
- Save your changes.
- Repeat these steps for the WebDemo broker.
- Ensure you can hit your WebTrac site.
