Rectrac 3.1.09.xx update failed to properly load VSI Data into database

Problem
After updating to 3.1.09.xx from 3.1.08.xx, various VSI Data fields are missing for the database. Issue can be confirmed by completing the following.
- Log into RecTrac.
- Click, Management>System Management>DB Inquiry.
- Change, Select Table to View to VSIFieldParams.
- In Query enter Version > "3.1.08.04" (Quotes Included).
- Click View.
Solution
VSI Data is missing and must be reloaded manually. Contact VSI Support to get the VSIDataImportFixes program used to correct this issue.
Steps for Solution
- Download a third party program called 7-zip and install to the RecTrac Database Server.
- Contact VSI Support to obtain VSIDataImportFixes.zip.
- Right click on the VSIDataImportFixes.zip highlight 7-zip and click Open Archive. (This will display the files packaged in the .zip.)
- Select all files and click Extract.
- Change Copy to: path to X:\VSI3\RecTrac\Programs\Business\Database. (X represents the drive letter in which RecTrac is installed.)
- Click OK.
- Click Yes.
- Obtain the .exe that you used to update RecTrac with to 3.1.09.xx.xx. this will be used to get the additional programs needed to resolve this issue.
- Right click on the 3.1.09xx.xx.exe highlight 7-zip click Open Archive. (This will display the folders packaged in the .exe.)
- Double-click on the folder displaying the largest size (ex $_106_).
- Select the Business folder and click Extract.
- Change Copy to: path to X:\VSI3\RecTrac\Programs\Business\Database. (X represents the drive letter in which RecTrac is installed.)
- Click OK.
- Log into RecTrac.
- Click Management>System Management>Quick Fix Processing.
- Browse to X:\VSI3\RecTrac\Programs\Business\Database and select ReimportVSIData.r. (X represents the drive letter in which RecTrac is installed.)
- Click Process.
- Click Process Quick Fix.
- Click Close. Be patient this will take time to complete.
- When complete Browse to X:\VSI3\RecTrac\Programs\Business\Database and select RerunPostUpdate.r in Quick Fix Processing to re-run the post update process. (X represents the drive letter in which RecTrac is installed.)
- Click Management>System Management>DB Inquiry.
- Change Select Table to View to VSIScreenDef.
- In Query enter Version = "3.1.09.xx.xx" (Quotes Included).
- Click View displaying records will match updated version.
- Change Select Table to View to VSIFieldParam.
- In Query enter Version = "3.1.09.xx.xx"(Quotes Included).
- Click View. Displaying records will match updated version.
- Click Inquiry>Audit Log Inquiry.
- Enter PostUpdate- into the Source database filter hit the enter key. You should see records for today listed.
