Problem
I am having eRecTrac menu problems in my IE browser. I have IE9 and Windows 7.
- The pull down menus are hidden behind the home page buttons.
- If you click any of the 6 function buttons, the main menu items disappear completely.
- And clicking any of the big buttons on the upper right makes all the other buttons disappear.
All three of these functions work fine in Firefox and Chrome.
Solution
This is a known issue in Internet Explorer if 'Compatibility View' is turned on.
If your computer is part of a network at an organization such as a school, government agency, or a business, your organization's system administrator might have turned on Compatibility View for all websites by using Group Policy. If a website doesn't display correctly, you can turn off Compatibility View by clicking the Compatibility View button on the Address bar.
If you don't see the Compatibility View button on the Address bar, go to Tools > Compatibility View Settings in the IE menu. If you see the eRecTrac site or domain under 'Websites you've added to Compatibility View,' remove it. Also look at the toggles on the screen. Make sure the bottom 2 toggles are not checked.
