10.3 and 3.1 Incorrect Client Time on One Workstation
Problem
One workstation displays the wrong time in RecTrac. The workstation time and time zone are correct but when any processing is done in RecTrac the wrong time is recorded.
What controls the RecTrac time and how do we fix?
Solution
The cause is a time zone setting in Windows. You need to remove the tz environment variable in Windows.
In Windows XP
1 Right-click on My Computer and go to Properties > Advanced Tab > Environment Variables
In Windows 7
1 Right-click on Computer and go to Properties > Advanced System Settings > Environment Variables
