10.3 and 3.1 SHA-1 vs. SHA-2 SSL Certificates
Problem
Why is my site not showing as fully trustworthy in some browsers even though my SSL certificate is valid?
Solution
This may due to the deprecation of SHA-1's use in some SSL certificates. (SHA stands for Secure Hash Algorithm.) SHA-1's use on the Internet has been deprecated since 2011, when the CA/Browser Forum, an industry group of leading web browsers and certificate authorities (CAs) working together to establish basic security requirements for SSL certificates, published their Baseline Requirements for SSL.
This is not an application specific problem. You will need to rekey your SSL certificate with your SSL provider.
Below are some information posts about the phase-out of SHA-1.
