Problem
We see VIC executable errors when changing Windows profiles.
'Failed to Listen To Prefix https://*:65110/ VIC may already be Running?'
How do we address this or fix it when we have multiple people logging into workstations with different usernames and passwords?
Solution
This error:
'Failed to Listen To Prefix https://*:65110/ VIC may already be Running?'
happens when you switch Windows users and log on with a second Windows account. The first instance of the VIC exe is keeping these ports open, so multiple VIC instances would not be possible.
The first user will have to actually log out of Windows instead of just locking their session.
If each user had a unique VIC EXE profile with a unique port and installation, this could be avoided, but then the hardware would still be unavailable because it is connected to the VIC EXE running under the first Windows user.
