A RecTrac Question is an interrogative sentence written/phrased as to elicit information, either during Daily Processing or during Household Maintenance functions. In RecTrac, Questions can be created as:
- Single stand-alone questions to which a single answer may be supplied. (i.e. when registering for a Men's Softball League, you might ask patrons what size shirt/jersey they wear.)
- A Set of questions which consists of multiple separate Questions involving the same topic. (i.e. a Daycare program might have a standard "questionnaire" that covers information, such as contact numbers/email addresses, known allergies, daily medications, dietary restrictions, etc...). When linked as a Set, all questions are asked in succession.

Questions can be linked to any RecTrac module (Activity, Pass, Facility, Locker, etc...), to certain System Codes (Type, SubType, Category, Season, etc...) and to Households and Family Member records.
Where a Questions is linked determines what it will impact. The following chart uses the Activity Module as an example, but the same holds true across all modules.

Question Listing (SAQUESTIONTEXTMAIN_DataGrid)
The Question Management DataGrid lists all the Questions currently established in your system that you have permission to view. Scroll up/down to view the Question codes or scroll left/right to view additional details.
DataGrid column sort options allow you to customize the view as desired. Click here for a full description of RecTrac DataGrids.
Buttons on the screen…
Click Add to continue to the Question Update screen to create a new question.
Highlight/select an existing record and click Change to continue to the Question Update screen to edit the selected Question.
Highlight/select an existing record and click Delete to remove it from the database.
Note: Questions with Answers cannot be deleted. Questions linked to detail records in other Modules cannot be deleted. There are NO Override Permissions to these restrictions.
Highlight/select an existing record and click Clone to continue to the File Maintenance Clone program to clone the selected Question.
Select/Highlight a record in the DataGrid and click More • Audit Info to continue to the Audit Log Inquiry program for that particular record. The Audit Log Inquiry screen is "read only" and displays all file management updates to the record you selected.
Note: This button is available only on the true File Management Main DataGrid to which it is linked. For example if you are running an activity report and click the Picklist icon to select a range of activity sections you will not see this button on the Activity Section Management DataGrid that appears. However if you go to the actual Activity Section Main File Management DataGrid then you will see it.
