Unable to execute device transaction through ETS after updating from 10.3 to 3.1
Problem
The following error message displayed while processing a credit card transaction through ETS 'Unable to execute device transaction.' Site recently upgraded from RecTrac 10.3 to 3.1 and is using the same ETS device.
Solution
Contact ETS with the Client ID and have them push down the necessary updates to the device.
To locate the Client ID:
1. In RecTrac go to the Management Ribbon System Management User/Menu/Profile Management group Profile Assignment.
2. Expand the Credit Card profile.
3. Highlight the desired ETS profile and then click Update. The Client ID will display.
