Problem
I see yellow statement lines in the PayTrac dashboard. What does this distinction mean for my settlements?
Solution
A Yellow statement line means that something isn't matching between the Finix settlement that was imported to RecTrac and the RecTrac credit card tables. This will need to be reviewed and possibly corrected before reconciliation will be complete.
Note:
The full breakdown of color coding on the PayTrac Dashboard is as follows:
- Light Green - All transactions match.
- Yellow - There is a no-match transaction in the settlement.
- Red - This settlement is missing transfers.
- Light Blue - This is a monthly fee settlement.
- Green - This settlement was a settlement with a no-match (yellow settlement), that has since been worked on and resolved.
Steps For Solution
- From the PayTrac Dashboard in RecTrac, compare the Transfers to RecTrac receipts and values to find the difference.
- You should resolve the discrepancy before having the GL posted to the financial system. This often means working with a PayTrac support representative at Vermont Systems.
After taking the appropriate action recommended by Vermont Systems, return to the PayTrac Dashboard and refresh the DataGrid, those statement lines should no longer display in yellow.breakdown
