In this video, we will review the topic for paying off an existing balance on a household and RecTrac and WebTrac. To highlight this, we're going to go to global sales, I already have that open here at the top and select our household. And I have a set to display a little pop up. Any time there is a balance, a debit balance or a credit balance in my database.

So let's set on the daily processing profile. That's just information I'm just going to hit. Okay? And then I'm brought into global sales and the way my database is set up, I'm set to have the any balances for the facility module to be automatically added to my shopping cart. So when I first get into global sales, I can see that I have my item in the shopping cart and RecTrac automatically placed it there, assuming I want to make a payment against my balance.

That might be a likely transaction for this household of convenience that automatically moves it to my shopping cart and that is set on your payment profile. So if I go to profile assignments and just switch over and pop into my default payment profile, there is an area at the bottom for pay or balance setting. So for every module you have the option to select what you want to do.

So for example, my balance is from a facility reservation from a previous transaction, so I have it set to auto add the balance to the shopping cart. Again, assuming that my next step in many cases is going to be a true payment against that balance, The required payment option is the other option here that will add to the cart and force me to pay it before I can do anything new.

I'm not allowed as blocks any old balance payments, and then user choice is going to leave it in purchase history for you to go apply the balance manually. Someone to illustrate what that would look like here, I must see and go back to global sales. So again, in this example, I didn't have to place this balance here. It automatically showed up there as soon as I entered global sales.

On the left hand side, I'm going to open up purchase history and I'm going to remove the balance from my shopping cart. So I'm going to go under, remove and just remove from CART and you'll notice the first order reservation that I have a balance for is listed here on the left. I just left my shopping cart and moved into purchase history.
00:02:21:02 - 00:02:41:17

So at this point I can come here. But it wasn't set to auto add. I'd see the balance listed here and from this screen I'd be able to pick and choose what balances I want to add to my cart or of the option under pay balance to just select all old balances. And in this case I can move it back over to the shopping cart right from purchase history so you can do it manually.

You can have auto add depending on how you want to work again by module on the RecTrac side. So what would this look like on the WebTrac side? So it's the same setting and same concept. I'm actually on a switch over to my web track page and I'll log in here with the same household soon as I get a direct track or WebTrac right at the top of my checkout option, I can see there's one cart item already listed in my checkout.
00:03:08:15 - 00:03:26:24

So right now for WebTrac I do have it set to auto add and it's really doing that same process. I go to my checkout. I could see that's where the facility reservation is. It's assuming I want it there for to make it a few clicks is possible, assuming this is going to be a really common thing for for customers to want to come in and to pay a balance.
00:03:26:26 - 00:03:53:07

So that's if it's set to auto add for the WebTrac payment profile for the facility module. If it wasn't set to auto add, I'm going to remove it now manually. And now I can either from the screen pay old balance or from my menu. Under my account, I can go to pay old balances and then from here I'll see all balances that are linked to my household account based on the parameters I have above at the top of the screen.

So there's my reservation. I could come here, choose to add it to the cart from here and get back to that same same spot in the process. And that is a walk through of what and how you can make balance payments for an existing balance in RecTrac and WebTrac.
