3.1 users cannot see Installment Bills from 10.3 with status of billed/expired/cancelled
Problem
We recently migrated from 10.3 to 3.1 When I go into Installment Billing update, I cannot see any old billing records from 10.3.
Solution
This is by design. We cannot bring the 10.3 installment billing history records over to 3.1. VSI Development has confirmed we don't bring those records over, and more importantly that we cannot do it without a major change in the way we coded for 10.3. When running RecTrac 3.1, if you go into Installment Billing Update and search for billing records that were billed/cancelled/expired in 10.3, you will not find them.
The good news, however, is that in 3.1, you will be able to see any billing records that have undergone a status change. So basically, any billing record that you've touched since you started working in 3.1 will be available. The ones you won't be able to find are those where the status was changed at any point where you were using 10.3.
