How to default new members to Resident or Non-Resident

Problem
We want new members to default to non-residents. Where in RecTrac can we enable this setting?
Solution
You can configure the default category for new members from the Static Parameters Profile in Profile Assignments.
Steps For Solution
- From the RecTrac main menu, go to Profile Assignments.
- Click Static Parameters.
- Expand the Misc Settings group.
- Change Default Category If No Address Check Match to your desired status (Resident or Non-Resident)
- Click Save.
The next time a patron creates an account and the system cannot complete/match their Address Check, the patron's category will default to the selection made in step 4.
