Inspection Update screen allows you to add, update, and review the results of an Inspection that have been performed or that are scheduled to be performed.
The Core Settings group is static for all Inspections. Other groups which appear are built dynamically based on the Inspection Form Code you select. The groups which appear are the Inspection Items linked to the Inspection Form Code. These are maintained in Inspection Form Management.
Note: Field names on the screen with red labels* are required by the screen design you are using. Mandatory fields in the default Vermont Systems design are noted where appropriate. Your design and mandatory fields may vary.

Click Save to save your changes and return to the previous screen.
Click Cancel to return to the previous screen without saving your changes.

Inspection Form Code (MTINSPECTIONRESULTS_InspectionFormCode)
Select the Inspection Form Code you wish to use. This is a Mandatory field for the default Vermont Systems design. Your design and setup may vary.
DeleteRecord Status (MTINSPECTIONRESULTS_RecordStatus)
Accept the default entry in this field (Inspected") or click the Drop-down list to make another selection.
- Inspected - The item is currently being inspected but has not yet passed.
- Scheduled - The inspection for this item is scheduled but has not occurred.
- Completed - The inspection of this item is complete and all Inspection Items have passed.
Inspection Number (MTINSPECTIONRESULTS_InspectionNumber)
You will not visit this field.
This field displays the Inspection Number. This is a system-maintained value that increments by one (1) each time an Inspection record is added. The number displays as "0" until the record is saved.
DeleteInspector (MTINSPECTIONRESULTS_UserName)
Select the Staff Code for the staff member performing the inspection. This is a mandatory field for the default Vermont Systems design. Your design and setup may vary.
DeleteInspection Date (MTINSPECTIONRESULTS_InspectionDate)
Accept the default entry in this field or click the Calendar icon to select an alternate date, if applicable. This field should be set to the date on which the Inspection was performed or is scheduled to be performed.
DeleteInspection Time (MTINSPECTIONRESULTS_InspectionTime)
Accept the default entry in this field or click the Clock icon to select an alternate time, if applicable. This field should be set to the time at which the Inspection was performed or is scheduled to be performed.
DeleteAsset Type (MTINSPECTIONRESULTS_AssetType)
You will not visit this field.
This field displays the Asset Type (Equipment Facility Street Tree or Utility) that is linked to the Inspection Form Code you selected.
DeleteAsset Code (MTINSPECTIONRESULTS_AssetCode)
Click the Picklist icon to select the applicable Asset Code. This is the fixed asset on which the inspection was performed or is scheduled to be performed.
DeletePermissions (MTINSPECTIONRESULTS_Permissions)
You will not visit this field.
This field displays the Permissions that are linked to the Asset Code (Equipment Code Facility Code Street Code Tree Code or Utility Code) you selected.
DeleteWork Order Due Date (MTINSPECTIONRESULTSUpdate_WorkOrderDueDate)
Click the Calendar icon to select a date, if applicable. In the event you are generating Work Order from failed inspections, then the date you enter in this field will be recorded as the Due Date" for the Work Order.
Leave this field blank if you are not assigning due dates to Work Orders generated from failed inspections or if you are not generating work orders from failed inspections.
DeleteWork Order Due Time (MTINSPECTIONRESULTSUpdate_WorkOrderDueTime)
Click the Clock icon to select a time, if applicable. In the event you are generating Work Order from failed inspections, then the time you enter in this field will be recorded as the Due Time" for the Work Order.
Leave this field blank if you are not assigning due times to Work Orders generated from failed inspections or if you are not generating work orders from failed inspections.
DeleteSpecial Instructions (MTInspectionResultsUpdate_SpecialNotes)
This field does not appear on screen and is not applicable to this program.
DeleteNotes (MTINSPECTIONRESULTS_Notes)
Enter any notes and comments that you want to associate with this inspection.
Note: Text entered in this field will not carry over to a Work Order in the event you are creating Work Orders from failed inspections.
Work Order List (MTINSPECTIONRESULTS_WorkOrderList)
This field does not appear on screen and is not applicable to this program.
DeleteFixed Asset Category (MTInspectionResultsUpdate_FixedAssetCategory)
This field does not appear on screen and is not applicable to this program.
DeleteResult (MTINSPECTIONRESULTSUpdate_ItemResult)
For each Inspection Item, accept the default entry (your Pass" code for this Item) or expand the Drop-down list to select an alternate entry if needed. Items in this list are the result of the Valid Inspection Results you entered for this Inspection Item.
Click Photos if applicable to link pictures to this Inspection Item.
DeleteSpecial Instructions (MTINSPECTIONRESULTSUpdate_ItemSpecialNotes)
You will not visit the Special Instructions fields.
This field displays the Special Instructions you entered when creating this Inspection Item.
DeleteNotes (MTINSPECTIONRESULTSUpdate_ItemNote)
For each Inspection Item, enter any relevant Notes regarding the inspection of it.
Note: Text entered in this field carries over to a Work Order in the event you are creating Work Orders from failed inspections.
Result ID (MTINSPECTIONRESULTSUpdate_ResultID)
This field does not appear on screen and is not applicable to this program.
