The Emergency Contacts Update screen allows you to add or update individuals you wish to link to this Household as people to contact in the event of an emergency.
From the bottom of the DataGrid…
Click Save to save your changes. You will be returned to the previous screen.
Click Cancel to return the previous screen without saving your changes.
Click View Photo to continue to the Emergency Contact Photo screen where the contact's photo will display, if applicable. From this screen you can also engage your camera to take photos. A View Photo button is available for each Emergency Contact.
To exit this program, click 'X' on the title bar. You will be returned to the Main Menu or the previous program.

Order (SAEMERGENCYCONTACT_Order)
Accept the default value 0" or enter an ordinal number to appropriately sort this Emergency Contact on the DataGrid
By default the Emergency Contact DataGrid sorts by Order then Last Name. Your setup may vary.
DeleteFirst Name (SAEMERGENCYCONTACT_FirstName)
Enter the Emergency Contact's first name in this field.
DeleteLast Name (SAEMERGENCYCONTACT_LastName)
Enter the Emergency Contact's last name in this field.
DeleteRelation (SAEMERGENCYCONTACT_Relation)
Enter the relationship of the Emergency Contact to the Household/Individual, if desired. This is a free-form text field. Examples include, but are not limited to: Mother, Father, Grandmother, Family Friend, etc….
DeleteEmployer (SAEMERGENCYCONTACT_Employer)
Enter the name of the Emergency Contact's employer in this field, if desired.
DeleteAllow Child Pickup? (SAEMERGENCYCONTACT_AllowPickup)
Select this option if the Emergency Contact you're creating/editing is authorized to pick up family members from this Household.
When selected, this Emergency Contact will appear on the Pickup Screen in Visit Processing when a child from this household is swiping out of your Facility.
Note: Click View Photo to continue to the Emergency Contact Photo screen where the contact's photo will displayif applicable. From this screen you can also engage your camera to take photos. A View Photo button is available for each Emergency Contact.
To use "OK to Pickup" Functionality additional setup is necessary:
- All applicable Pass Codes must be set to Track Visit Sign-Outs. On the Standard VSI Design this option is located on the Core Continued screen of Pass Update.
- On the Visit profile enable the option to Display Pick-up Photos on Member Sign-Outs. On the Standard VSI Design this option is located on the Attended/Manual Member Lookup/Manual Visit Completion Options group. This option makes the process work.

Optional: If you wish to display "OK to Pickup" photos for the Primary and Secondary Guardians of a Household then on the Visit profile also enable the option to Display Pick-up Photos for Primary and Secondary Guardian. On the Standard VSI Design this option is located on the Attended/Manual Member Lookup/Manual Visit Completion Options group. This option will always include the Primary Guardian/Family Member 1 of a Household regardless of Relationship Code and will include the Secondary Guardian provided the system finds a Relationship Code match.
If you do not want to display Primary and Secondary Guardians as "OK to Pick up then skip this step. -
Optional: If you run Background Visit Processing and if wish to display "OK to Pickup" photos for your Emergency Contacts then on the Visit profile enable the option to Display Pick-up Photos on Member Sign-Outs. On the Standard VSI Design this option is located on the BackGround/Access Control Visit Options group. Displaying Member Photos on Sign-outs will result in an Incomplete Visit.
If you do not run Background Visit Processing or if you do not want to display Emergency Contacts as "OK to Pick up then skip this step.
Notes: Actual Member/Emergency Contact photos are optional. You can use "OK to Pickup" functionality without photos if desired. In this event the Member's/Emergency Contact's name will appear on the Pickup Screen in Visit Processing along with your "No-Photo.jpg" image.
If you want to list Family Members from this Household - other than Primary and Secondary Guardians - as "OK to Pickup then you must add them as Emergency Contacts and enable the Allow Child Pickup? option.
Photo ID (SAEMERGENCYCONTACT_PhotoID)
You will not visit this field.
This field displays the system-generated Photo ID for this Emergency Contact.
Click View Photo to continue to the Emergency Contact Photo screen where the contact's photo will display if applicable. From this screen you can also engage your camera to take photos. A View Photo button is available for each Emergency Contact.
This option works in conjunction with the Allow Child Pickup? option on this screen to display this Contact's Photo for visual identification of the Contact as "OK to Pick Up" when a child from this household swipes out of your building.

Expand the Drop-down list to select the Contact Type for this record. Generally speaking, you will choose Emergency Contact
