Not all Family Members display in WebTrac 3.1 when registering for an Activity
Problem
When using WebTrac to register someone for a program, patrons are telling me that they're not seeing all of their family members. For Example: A household with Mom, Dad, and three kids. When trying to register the two younger children, they don't display. The patron sees only Mom, Dad and the oldest child.
I have checked the household in Household Management, and all Family Members are 'Active.'
Solution
Check the Rules you have on the Activity and ensure all Family Members in that household can pass them. In WebTrac 3.1, family members that do not pass Rules are not available for selection.
In specific response to this question, it was a class with a Rule for Residents Only, and the two youngest Family Members had Non-Resident Fee Codes linked. Once the Fee Codes were adjusted, those Family Members became visible/selectable in WebTrac for that class.
This is true throughout WebTrac (all modules) and is most commonly seen with Rule violations, such as Age, Grade, and Gender.
To test whether family members in a Household are in violation of Rules, attempt the same registration in RecTrac. The system will show you which family members are in violation - assuming the Rule is NOT set up for the WebTrac interface only.
