Topic doc: WebTrac Facility Reservations Monitor
RecTrac 3.1
Table of Contents
The Facility Reservation Monitor is a custom interface that provides a calendar-based tool to display Facility Reservations in WebTrac. For Example: You can set the Reservation Monitor to display internal Ice Rink reservations for Open Skating, Youth Hockey, Private Lessons, etc…. There is no file maintenance or set up involved. Rather the program works by editing your WebTrac URL to include "monitor.html" and strings that contains your desired Search parameters. If your intention is to provide multiple views, then Vermont Systems recommends using bookmarks in your browser or generating by pass links from WebTrac.
To Use the WebTrac Facility Reservations Monitor
This is a custom interface so does not appear on RecTrac or WebTrac menus. To use the interface, your RecTrac administrators will have to go into WebTrac and edit the URL field to change the .html program being called to "monitor.html" instead, and then insert your search parameters string.
For Example: Your WebTrac login page is: <Your BaseHref>/wbwsc/webtrac.wsc/login.html?interfaceParameter=webtrac_1.To use the WebTrac Reservation Monitor, you would change "login.html"to "monitor.html" and then delete everything after that and insert your search string, such as: <Your Base Href>wbwsc/webtrac.wsc/monitor.html?FRClass=Room&View=Calendar&ShowOrgName=Yes&Month=10&HideSearchField=yes
The result will look something like this:
When viewing the calendar in WebTrac, your patrons can then click on a day and that day's reservations for all the facilities included in your search.
Parameter Options
For best results, you likely will use this with direct links to various views. For Example: Skating Rink Reservations Today. The following table presents the available Parameter Options, their definitions, and examples in some cases. You can use as many or as few as desired. Separate parameters in the URL using the ampersand key (&) and no space.
For Example: <Your BaseHref>wbwsc/webtrac.wsc/monitor.html?FRClass=Room&View=Calendar&ShowOrgName=Yes&Month=10&HideSearchField=yes&ReservationTypes=Facility,Activity,League,Interal
