Require Approval of Newly Created Households from WebTrac

Problem
We would like to set up a way to have employees approve new households that were created by patrons in WebTrac.
Solution
You will need to set the New Household Option setting found in the WebTrac Parameters Profile to Batch.
Steps For Solution
To set the WebTrac Parmeters Profile:
- In RecTrac, go to Profile Assignments.
- In the Linked Profiles section, find your WWW user.
- Highlight the WebTrac Parameters Profile linked to the WWW.
- Click Update.
- Expand the New/Forgotten Settings group.
- Change the New Household Option setting to Batch.
To approve batched households:
- From the RecTrac main menu, go to Household Management.
- Under the Lookup drop-down, verify that you are using the Household Number or Household Last Name look-up option and that the Household DataGrid is visible below.
- Find the newly created household with a Batch status.
- You can click Options then Show Settings and toggle on Visible for the Status Column.
- Then use the DataGrid filter for Status to only show households with a Batch status.
- Highlight the household from the DataGrid.
- Click Approve Batch Household.
Once approved the household will now be able to make purchases in person and online.
