10.3 and 3.1 Transaction Not Authorized... Reason: No records found with Plug'nPay
Problem
We have a new Windows 7 computer that we cannot take credit cards on. The error that shows is:
Transaction Not Authorized... Reason: No records found with Plug'nPay
Credit cards work for all other workstations and even for this same clerk on a different computer.
Solution
This turned out to be a web browser issue, not a RecTrac issue. The clerk noticed that the Plug'nPay page looked different on this machine versus on a machine where credit cards worked.
We had the customer open up Internet Explorer (IE) on this machine.
1 Click on Tools > Internet Options > Advanced Tab > Reset...
This fixed the Plug'nPay page. Once it displayed what is shown in the PNP WebXpress Doc, the credit cards went through fine.
