Problem
When attempting to process an online enrollment, a customer keeps getting an error:
'Failure CV'
We use ETSERI as our credit card device
Solution
All CV errors have to do with Bin range or Bin number. Therefore, if the situation doesn't meet the above description EXACTLY, but a CV error is occurring, focus on the bin number.
Call the Merchant Services Provider (MSP) at ETS and tell them about the error. You may need to verify the card type and bin number of the customer's card.
The MSP will let you know when it is okay to re-attempt the transaction.
