10.3 and 3.1 Swiping Credit Card Using Terminal Services Not Working
Problem
Swiping a credit card in GUI RecTrac using terminal services is not working. The credit card swipe field does populate but when you click OK or enter, nothing happens. The Credit card name, card number, and expiration date stays blank. Typing in the swipe field and hitting enter also doesn't do anything.
Solution
The terminal services session was not configured to capture the local machine's ports and Plug'nPay devices.
Exit RecTrac.
Go into the RDP Remote Desktop Options --> Local Resources --> More.
Check the toggle on Ports and other supported Plug and Play devices.
Click OK.
Reconnect to the terminal server,
Log back into RecTrac.
