PlugNPay failed Post Auth issues with RecTrac 3.1
Problem
We have had a number of PlugNPay failed Post Auth issues of late. Is there anything to be done about this?
Solution
As of RecTrac build 3.1.05.07, if your ECOMM PnP account is set to Auto settle, then it will be marked with a Post Auth at time of Auth, no secondary CURL (used to be winhttp) post is required.
Configuring the settle type to Manual, for an ECOMM account, will require the Post Auth like all older versions of RecTrac. You may choose to set back to Manual if you find that you are getting charged, but not getting any sale in RecTrac.
The reason for doing this is for whatever reason the MARKs are not making it to PNP - most likely a communication issue as they happen in clusters at certain merchant sites.
If you are finding that the transaction is hitting PNP but not RecTrac, then you might want to set this to Manual .
If that is not the case then set it to Auto.
