3.1 RecTrac unable to Query Transaction at PNP - Curl Send Failed
Problem
We've gotten this error a few times.
'Unable to query the transaction at the PNP gateway. If you process this transaction again you could potentially charge the customer again. Before you continue, contact your RecTrac administrator and have them check the transaction at the PNP Portal.'
1. Why is the curl send failing?
2. Where are the curl logs located?
Solution
1. The curl send is likely failing due to no email address (or an invalid email address) in the Admin Email Address field on your Static Parameters profile > Organization/Address group. Use the 'i' Help for a field definition and examples and then enter the approropriate address for your Departement.
2. The location of your curl logs is dependant upon your Debugging Level, also in Static Parameters > Logging/Debug Settings group.
If Set to level 3 debugging, curl logs are:
in CLIENTlive.server.log search for 'curl response' right under this will be the path to their curl logs
For Example: C:\OpenEdge\Wrk113
If Set to NO debugging:
Start menu > All Programs > Progress > Proenv this will also show you the path to their curl logs
Note: Curl logs are available for transaction done in RecTrac (GUI) only and only for the PlugNPay and CardConnect credit card gateways.
