ETS - 'Unable to Log Into ETS Client 126225. Installment Billing has been cancelled' messages in 3.1
Problem
We are trying to run credit card billing in 3.1 via ETS (which has worked in the past) and are getting an error in the notification center.
ETS - Unable to Log Into ETS Client 126225. Installment Billing has been cancelled at this point. All records up to this point have been processed. Once the problem has been corrected you can rerun billing for the same date and the remaining bills will be processed. Contact Vermont Systems Customer Support before continuing! Last Receipt = 5983 Last Household Number = 361
Solution
Basically the login to the ETS Transvault dll fails. The credentials (Clientid, masterkey, terminal id) are correct. ETS determined that the ETS Transvault core files were old.
To Fix:
1. Log into the server that hosts the RecTrac Event AppServer.
2. Find the user that is set to start the OE admin service (in the example below, SAcct, then browse to
C:\Users\SAcct\AppData\Local\ETS\TransVault and delete the files Gls.dat and TransVaultCore_...
Note: The location for a Local System Account service user is as below:
C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\ETS\TransVault
