Problem
3.1 Card Connect Error : Invalid token (Response Status: C)
Solution
An Invalid Token can be generated when you attempt to use a token from the VSI TEST environment in your production environment. Typically this is due to your cs.ini being configured incorrectly.
It is likely that the URL in the cs.ini is pointing toward 'fts.cardconnect.com:6443' instead of 'vsi.cardconnect.com:8443.'
Purge the cs.ini that exists in RecTrac and import a new one.
1. To purge the bad cs.ini, go to the Document Center for the impacted user(s).
2. Under \export\cs.ini, highlight/select the cs.ini and click Delete.
3. Then go to the Pinpad profile for that workstation.
4. Click the X to the right of the CardConnect INI file to remove the entry. Click Save. You will be returned t the previous screen.
5. Go back into the profile.
6. Click the File Explorer icon for the CardConnect INI field and select the correct cs.ini file. The following should be this .ini:
- url=https://vsi.cardconnect.com:8443
- url2=https://vsi.cardconnect.com:8443
7. Save your changes.
8. Exit RecTrac, log back in and attempt the transaction again.
