10.3 and 3.1 Payment Error: Transaction Was Not Authorized... Reason: (Response Status: )
Problem
Customer migrated to Card Connect and is now trying to process their first transaction but they are getting the following error message in RecTrac.
Payment Error: Transaction Was Not Authorized... Reason: (Response Status: )
The Curl logs in the Webclientapps/VSI/RecTracLan/Temp directory displayed the following error
HTTP Status 401 ......
Solution
Ensure the Username/Password on your CardConnect profile/device is the Username and Password given to you by CardConnect. Save changes. VSI recommends exiting RecTrac and logging back in for changes to take effect.
In this instance, the customer had input their Admin login credentials in lieu of the credentials supplied by CardConnect.
