10.3 and 3.1 Determining why a credit card sale was declined
Problem
We just ran billing for the first time using CardConnect. We had about 100 transactions that were declined. We're wondering why that happened with those 100 customers.
Solution
VSI Support cannot provide this information. To determine why a card is authorized or declined, you should work with your gateway, in this case CardConnect.
RecTrac is simply the vehicle through which credit card data passes when a transaction is completed. RecTrac does not store credit card information, nor does it contain any coding to analyze credit card transactions to determine why a sale might be authorized or declined.
