3.1 Error message in CardConnect Bolt - No request queue registered for hsn
Problem
We recently switched to CardConnect BOLT and are getting an Information Pop-up box that reads,
'ErrorCode: 6 X-Content-Type-Options: nosniff X-Frame-Options: DENY Content-Type: application/json;charset=UTF-8 Content-Length: 84 Date: Mon, 26 Feb 2018 14:498:13 GMT Connection: close errorCode:6errorMessage:No request queue registered for hsn 6187sc81271984'
What does this mean?
Solution
This error message might indicates a case issue. The Terminal ID field on the PinPad profile is case-sensitive.
Ensure you enter the Serial Number of the Pinpad exactly as it appears.
For Example: The Serial Number is as follows: 16187SC81271984
What was entered in the Pinpad profile is: 16187sc81271984
The difference is the lower case 'sc.' It will be necessary to change that to upper case 'SC.'
Note: To guarantee the change is taken, first register the serial number as something entirely different: 27298td92382095. Register the terminal a second time with the correct serial number and correct case, as this is case-sensative.
Make changes as needed and Save.
If the problem persists, try rebooting the pinpad, itself. Ensure you see 'bolted' when the unit comes back online.
