3.1 CardConnect terminals rebooting intermittently - mandatory security check
Problem
Intermittently, our new iSC250 CardConnect credit card terminals are restarting and flashing the following message: Mandatory security check in progress.
Solution
The Mandatory Security Check is supposed to happen between 2:00 am and 6:00 am. Time is incorrectly set on your credit card terminals. The time will need to be adjusted on the terminal to be 24-hour military time.
1. Do one of the following:
- For IPP terminals, you would press F767. Go to where it says "Date and Time" and set as is appropriate.
- For ISC terminals you would use +767 and set the time as is appropriate.
2. If you need additional assistance on your credit card terminals, call CardPointe Support 877-828-0720 ext 1205.
