3.1/10.3 Can't process Credit Cards- VSI or Plug & Pay issue?
Problem
Receiving the error message that follows when trying to process credit cards. I am able to sign into my organization's Plug & Pay account on portal. Is this a VSI issue or P&P issue?
Unable to communicate with P&P at this time. There is a communication issue between your transaction server and P&P server when trying to reach P&P. Error in cURL log: 14:40:15.390000 == Info: schannel: next InitializeSecurityContext failed: Unknown error (0x80092013) - The revocation function was unable to check revocation because the revocation server was offline. 14:40:15.390000 == Info: Closing connection 0 14:40:15.390000 == Info: schannel: shutting down SSL/TLS connection with pay1.plugnpay.com port 443.
Solution
This requires the help of your organization's IT, as you will have to modify the network firewall.
Modify the Access Control List rule on the firewall. Not only must the RecTrac server communicate with pay1 & pay2.plugnpay.com, but also the Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) & Certificate Revocation (CR) List objects that validates the SSL Cert.
