PayTrac: Ingenico Lane 3000 Error - LaneID does not exist

Problem
As a PayTrac customer using the Ingenico Lane 3000, I am trying to process a refund back to the card that was used but I am getting the error message "LaneID does not exist" which will not allow me to process the transaction.

Solution
You may not have the same Pinpad Profile attached to your user as the original transaction. Ensure that you are using the same Pinpad Profile that was used in the original transaction. You can either temporarily attach the appropriate Pinpad Profile to your user in profile assignments or you can login on the same workstation and try processing the refund.
Steps For Solution
- From the RecTrac main menu, go to Profile Assignments.
- In the middle column find the Pinpad Profile that is attached to the original user, user group, or workstation.
- Under Available Profiles, locate the Pinpad Profile identified in step 2 and drag and drop the Pinpad Profile to your username in the middle column.
- Once the Pinpad Profile is attached to your user you can process the refund through Global Sales.
After the refund transaction is completed, remove the Pinpad Profile from your user by clicking and dragging the profile from your user to the left column.
