How to update payment methods for a household

Problem
If I go to process a purchase of an item and I select "Credit Card", if there's a saved payment method, I can select it. However, on occasion that payment method is expired and has to be updated or deleted. How can I update saved payment methods on a household?
Solution
Go to the Financial tab within Household Update and select Credit Card Auto Pay or ACH Auto Pay under the Auto Pay Balance drop-down. From there you can update the information within the auto pay options by selecting Add or Change Credit Card Information.
Steps For Solution
- In RecTrac go to Household Management
- Click on the Financial Info tab
- Under Auto Pay Balance, select Credit Card Auto Pay if you want to update a credit card or select ACH Auto Pay if you want to update bank information
- New Fields will appear under Auto Pay Options, select Add/Change Credit Card Information
- On the next screen,
- If you would like to add a new card, click Add
- If you would like to change a credit card highlight the card from the DataGrid and click Change
- If you wish to remove a credit card, highlight the card from the DataGrid and click Delete
- Click Save to save the changes to the credit card information
- Click Select to exit the Epay Info Management Screen
- Click Save to save the household
Return to Globals Sales for the household you just updated and process the transaction again. The updated Credit Card info should now be available.
