Required Fields when Processing a Guest/Daily Sale

Problem
Instead of showing "DAILY GUEST ZZZ SYSTEMHOUSEHOLD" on a guest receipt, we want to require a patron's name, phone number, address, or email.
Solution
To require these fields on a guest transaction, in Profile Assignments, go to the Daily Processing Profile linked to the user/user group/workstation processing the sale. There, you will find the Guest Sale Information drop-down settings. In these settings, choose the guest information fields you wish to require for the module selected.
Steps For Solution
- From your RecTrac main menu, navigate to Profile Assignments.
- Select the Daily Processing Profile linked to the user/user group/workstation performing the sale
- Click Update.
- Expand the Guest Sale Information Settings group.
- Note your options to set Optional Fields or Required Fields
- Select the information fields you wish present during a sale in RecTrac and/or WebTrac when processing a sale to the Guest/Daily Household for the module(s) selected.
- Click Save.
Your guest receipt now will require the fields you have selected.
