The Service Item Management program allows you to add, update, delete, and clone POS Service Items. Service Items designate different types of point-of-sale transactions- that do NOT include Inventory or Tickets - that you may process. This program allows you to create codes that indicate a type of transaction and to group like transactions together. Material or services that you sell - that are not Inventory or Ticket-related - will be a Service Item code.
Inventory Items and Tickets are maintained in their respective POS modules.
