The Trip Management program allows you to add a new or update a single existing trip. This program is useful for adding and changing unique trips that do not have a pattern or are not run multiple times, such as an annual trip to Disney World. To create multiple pattern-type trips (such as daily scenic tours that depart every 90 minutes each day in the summer), use the Trip Clone program.

Trips (TPTRIPMAIN_DataGrid)
The Trip Management DataGrid lists all the Trips currently established in your system you have Permissions to view. Scroll up/down to view the Trips or scroll left/right to view additional details.
DataGrid column sort options allow you to customize the view as desired. Click here for a full description of RecTrac DataGrids.
Note: For best results consider using column filters such as Departure Date On/After to show only those trips still up-coming and omit trips that have taken place.
Buttons on the screen…
Click Add to continue to the Trip Update screen to create a new Trip.
The Add options you receive are determined by your Default Record Permissions (Permissions profile • Default Record Permissions group) and whether-or-not you have Default Records in your database for this Module.
Highlight/select an existing record and click Change to continue to the Trip Update screen to update information for a Trip.
Highlight/select an existing record and click More • Delete to remove it from the database.
Note: Financial information for the Trip must be purged.
Highlight/select an existing record and click Bulk Create to continue to the Trip Bulk Create Options screen to clone the selected Trip. Single trips or multiple trips can be created.
Note: This program does not export linked tables so Fees/Rules/Questions do not get exported; this exports only the Management record itself.
Click More • Bulk Change to continue to the Bulk Change DataGrid. Bulk Changes allows you to make field changes to multiple trips at once.

Click More • Enrollment Recalc to continue to the Enrollment Recalculation screen where you can force a system recalculation to ensure proper enrollment totals.

Click More • Trip Purge to continue to the Trip Purge screen where you can opt ot purge Trip records from your database.

Click More • Evaluations to continue to the Evaluations screen where you can update participant evaluations for this Trip.

Highlight/select a Trip and click More • Cancel Trip to continue to the Cancel All screen where you can cancel the selected trip and process refunds for the registrants.
