Question
We have a subset of passes that had the wrong expiration date set. The households who were assigned the passes all need their pass expiration date further in the future. Is there a way to do this in bulk for 3.1?
Answer
Yes. The Membership Bulk Change program provides this functionality in 3.1. In the standard Vermont Systesm design, the button for this program is located at the bottom of the Pass Management DataGrid. You can change the expiration to either a specific date or advance the date by a set number of days.
To Run the Membership Bulk Change Program
- Go to Pass Management and click the Membership Bulk Change button.
- Select the pass(es) you need to update. You can use the DataGrid or enter a range or both.
- In the Begin and End Date fields, enter the range of pass membership dates for which you wish to change the Expiration Date.
OR
Leave Begin and End Date fields blank if doing all active passes. - Select the Pass status(es) you want to include.
OR
Leave the field at (0) Selected to 'Select All.' - Expand Change Optionand make a selection.
- New Expire Date if you want to specify the exact date. The date you pick will be the new expiration date.
- Extend Expire Date if you want to advance the date by a set number of days. Enter the number of days that you want to extend.
- Use the "i" Information icon for field level descriptions and other information as needed.
- When ready, click Process. The process runs on the AppServer. The Notification Center will alert you when it completes. When the date change process is complete, Exit.
