10.3 and 3.1 Printing a Patron's Email Address on Receipts
Problem
Can you get a household's email address to print on a receipt?
Solution
Yes. The setting that determines whether household email address print is maintained on the Receipt-Format profile/device in both 3.1 and 10.3.
In RecTrac 3.1: Receipt Format profile Standard Receipt Option Group Receipt as Mailers field (on the Standard VSI Design). A receipt printed as a mailer will NOT include the email address, so to have an email address included on the receipt, make sure it is NOT selected in this field. Make selections as needed and Save changes. Changes take effect immediately with the next receipt generated.
In RecTrac 10.3: Receipt-Format device Module Details screen (screen 3). On the Module Details screen, set the Receipt as Mailers Y/N flag to 'N' for 'No.' Exit RecTrac and log back in for changes to take effect. Changes take effect with the next receipt generated.

Receipts printed in Standard Format (i.e. NOT as mailers) print the patron's name, address, phone number, and email address on the right-hand side. Your organization's name, address, phone number, and web site information (if available) is printed on the left-hand side of the upper portion of the receipt.
Lastly, the email address that prints is the one listed on the Primary Guardian screen of the household. Family Member email addresses (if different) will not print on receipts.
