How to report on Resident and Non-Resident total enrollments in 3.1
Problem
The 10.3 Activity Listing when run in Detail would print out resident and non-resident enrollment totals by section. Where is this report in 3.1?
Solution
This report already exists in 3.1. It can be found under Reporting > Report Listing > Activity > Activity Section Reports. The output is the VSI - Activity Section Listing Report.
NOTE: The column labels for RES/NR will show as Enr1 and Enr2. In 3.1 we no longer have the generic concept of Res/NR so we adjusted these calculated fields to use a setting in the Daily Processing Profile. In the profile under the Reporting Default Options group you will find fields for FeeCode Enrollment Count 1 -3 and Category Enrollment Count 1 - 3. The fields on the default VSI Report Output above are referring to Fee Code Enrollment Count 1 and Fee Code Enrollment Count 2. Ensure the you have your RES and NR fee codes specified in the profile and the report should pull the correct values.
If you wish to change the Column Headers for this report, clone it to create a custom report output and adjust the labels for Enr1 and Enr2 accordingly. The actual field names in Report Output Management for the above calculated fields are as follows:
