3.1 Emailing Receipts from Transaction History in RecTrac 3.1
Problem
Is there a way to email receipts directly out of RecTrac from transaction history in 3.1?
Solution
Yes you can do this. Underneath the 'Receipt Reprint' button in Transaction History is a drop down menu that allows you to select reprint options
1. In standard VSI Design, go to Inquiry Ribbon Household Inquiry.
2. Lookup the Household and highlight/select it in the DataGrid.
3. With the Household selected, click Transaction History.
4. In the Transaction History DataGrid, highlight/select the Receipt you wish to email.
5. At the bottom of the screen, expand the Receipt Reprint Options group. Depending on the size of your monitor, you may have to scroll down.
6. Select the Email Receipt option. Ensure the proper address is in the Email Address field. If not, expand the Drop-down list, select 'Enter a Free Form Email Address' and enter the address you wish to use.
7. Click Receipt Reprint when ready.
8. Repeat as necessary for other receipts or exit back to the main menu.
