Why does a Receipt Notes Dialog appear when Items are added to the Shopping Cart in 3.1?
Problem
Recently a new 'Receipt Notes' box started popping up every time we added something to the Shopping Cart. Is there any way to remove this or shut it off?
Solution
Yes. In RecTrac 3.1 this is controlled by the Update Receipt Notes for these Modules field on the main group of your Daily Processing profile. Click the Combo Box icon to select the Modules for which you wish to have a Receipt Notes dialog appear when completing a Transaction in RecTrac. The Receipt Notes dialog allows you to enter free form comments associated with the sale, if needed.
If you do not want the box to pop-up, then clear any/all entries in this field and Save. Changes take effect immediately beginning with then next sale.
If you have more than one (1) Daily Processing profile, then you will want to make changes, as needed, to all of them.
